Yes...woke is a cool slang to publish or post on our content, feed or anything social but how cool it actually is when all that wokeness, still doesn't change our reality. ?

Be woke, do the work!?

Even though it's fantasy, Aladin had to work to get that genie out the lamp. ?
?
He didn't just hoped and dreamed that the genie will magically appear to grant his wishes. He exerted some type of force.
?
Many illegal aliens didn't just hoped and dreamed that one day they would be given all access to the U.S. They got up and worked. They know where they needed to be and what they needed to do. Information were cycled through their neighborhoods and they stood up and now there's bus loads...but that's another post!?

Africa is the biggest continent on earth. You can put these countries inside of Africa and still have room left. Africa is the Heart and Soul of Earth

Remember, white supremacy is like Gorilla Glue (No Pun Intended). They're tight-knit. They're cohesive in executing their tactics against us. They're on-code (words we love using) in ALL four corners of the world.??
??
That's how they're able to further their agenda and slow or stop us from furthering ours. ??

#blkem #collaboration #WeAllWeGot

As we stated before, ??
??
We're not here to compete with other platforms and/or those that's doing the work. We want to work with you. ??
??
We're not here to sugarcoat raw truth when we have clearly taken up the bottom class position, comfortably. We want to push content that helps us build, together.??
??
We're not here to seek other interest except for the Black interest, until we can establish some sort of foundation, we can throttle from. Our economic foundation is important for us.??

Time can be our nemesis depending on how we utilize it.?
?
Understanding where we are at in this timeline is undoubtedly important, especially knowing where we came from.?
?
Negative history repeats itself if we continue to allow it. ?
?
Our ancestors did their time and the groundwork to secure a better future for us, with little to no resources. ?
?
We have access to more than what they had, so in all reality, we should be doing more to end our suffering. If not ours, then for those that will come after us!!?
?
Don't be selfish. Become selfless for Black Empowerment.

We have to work on our foundation and STOP making it a goal to help them build theirs because B.S narratives like these will continue to happen, and now..more so often.?
?
Be safe out there!!?It's not over!

??RIP Breonna Taylor.

The root of the problem is important in many aspects of our encounters with authority figures and the system that we are dependent on. We are fighting a never ending battle unless we utilize our unified resources to build our economic foundation.

We have to decide, whether we want to level up or stay the oppressive course. When we take out the root, the things that are connected to it, disappears.

Remember, white supremacy is on code, no matter where you're at. We have to become like that! ON CODE!

We truly appreciate the increase in engagement this past week. More and more users are signing up and becoming part of something greater than themselves!

Are you all enjoying the public timeline? Is it a necessary feature?

These polls help us improve the platform.

We came across this documentary/movie last night and wanted to share the importance of such movie. If you haven't see it, we highly suggest to take some time and watch. "Mully" is based out of Kenya. Take away from this movie..self-sustainment, ownership, hope and unwavering because there are other people that genuinely need our help domestic and foreign.

This is why, self-sustainment is truly important because the need to be dependent on this system of white supremacy will wither away. Your goal is bigger than just you. Each One, Teach One.

What happens when a six-year-o..

We know that Black people make anything trend, including social network platforms. It's one of the reasons we had an influx of new users in the last few days.

But..when you have platforms that's using Black presence and creativity for gains and not re-investing in the community, then those platforms are no benefit when we speak on injustice against us.

They're quick to silence the conversational concerns because it does not affect them directly!

They prioritize when it do affect them (Trump). Here's an insider piece on the FB culture.

COC President Rashad Robinson ..

Celebrating Women's History Month (Specifically Black Women). March 1 - March 31 and every other days in the year!

We should indeed recognize the contributions Black women have made within the Black Community, for everyone. We should also work on diluting the pain that they have went through and are still going through in the 21st century!

We need to be consistent in building them up and working on ways to continue protecting them.

If anyone wants to contribute to this post, feel free to!

What do you all think about the public timeline? Many platforms restrict this ability to increase monetization. We're thinking about adding (1) or (2) more alternate timelines to compartmentalize important information being posted. Let us know your thoughts!

I like it

I don\'t like it

I am unsure

A debate can be healthy without all the disrespect.

If our message do not align with each other, then we can find ways to work on that and NOT be disrespectful. If you have more experience in a subject area, then let's talk about it.

We are NOT illiterates.

Whatever we agree on, we should be working on those things. We seem to find soo much energy on what we don't agree on when that energy could be utilized for our benefit like economic empowerment!

First of all, we want to welcome the TONS of people that were joining Blkem while we slept. Got us cracking up! Now we have much more work to do in verifying your BLACKNESS.

So please bear with us and you will be notified when you get that brown checkmark!

Our goal is to assist in building the Black community, just as those plantation platforms, FB/IG, Twitter, SnapChat etc...would for theirs.

Mobile app is coming very soon to include new features on this platform so please bookmark this site and engage with each other at least 2 - 3 times a week. Give Blkem that same energy.

Rodney Reese was a lucky young adult that day.

The day these race soldiers decided to harass him going home. He did not want to be bothered, yet they persisted, escalating the situation.

They pretended to offer assistance and as we always know the outcome of such encounters, it never honestly goes the right way.

We have always stated and will continue to do so, these issues will continue to arise if we are just tackling the branches and not the ROOTS.

You uproot the tree, the branches wither away, eventually. But in order to do this, the necessary tools are needed!

Malcolm X born on May 19, 1925, give his life for Black Empowerment. He give his life so that the Black community can stand up for what they believe in..freedom..human rights...equality...access to resources..Black love...Black family etc..

He was and still is the epitome of Black Empowerment because he knew, what it would take to give us back our identity as a whole. That was the hard work.

For us, it should be easy work as these prominent leaders laid out the blueprint.

There's no time to continue to complain and indulge in excuses as time is not forever.

We are working on adding more features to make this platform fluid and convenient. Should we add the ability for you all to EDIT your post within a specific timelimit?

Adding these features depends on the amount of responses we receive.

Yes

No

Maybe

What he is going to learn is the same thing all the coons before him learned. They will use you until they no longer need you and then toss you out...Coonism 101

Going against everything that's anti-black, even your own. That's what being pro-black represents. In this case, Chenge was our own but he showed his face as being an ignorant spokesperson for white supremacy.

So now, he falls into that category of the lost cause. He falls into the category of politicians focusing on their own agenda and not ones that can assist in elevating the Black community.

Make no mistake that these antics are organized. They're organized to bring a rise out of us. Best believe they didn't get a rise though, because we were expecting it.

What do you all think is the best way for users to verify that they are a Black individual? Our goal is to provide a safety net for users who support us when utilizing this platform. We are not here to make you all uncomfortable but we are also not here to compromise for Black Empowerment.

Social Media Verification

Video Verification

Word of Mouth

Using Twitter is easy work? This is why we are here, to do the hard work. To do the work very few are doing, for US.

No matter how much disrespect we get from other platforms, is it still so hard to facilitate Black Owned?

There's a reason we have the verification feature and there's a reason we have two (2) options to verify. We are not here to sell your information. We are not FB/IG, Twitter or YT. We are here to assist with the work in the Black Community.

Maybe this individual is not Black..Maybe they're trying to infliltrate this platform.

It's on all of us to be weary of the deflection of Black issues that have not been addressed. Police killings, genocide, organ cultivating, disproportionate lack of resources and capital within our communities etc... These are not today issues.

Yes, other communties are not immune from civil rights issues but they are highly susceptible to acquiring tangibles before us, a repeat in history.

Politicians are spinning narrative for other issues except for us.

So until we can be popular like other communities in "Specifics" acquistion, we're gonna keep the fight.

It never surprises us when influential organizations and/or movements become exposed and more often than not, they expose themselves. Ethics and moral codes become invisible.

We can only guess BLM intentions since inception but throughout the years, it's apparent that diversion was inevitable.

Their mission statement which was suppose to cover police brutality, ending of white supremacy etc.barely tapped into the real deep rooted issues in the community as we would have likely seen the impact.
