This is truly sad. This is one of the prime examples of how the Black Economic structure was dismantled.

The system had power to change our livelihoods and we couldn't do anything to prevent it. The family was left desolated and generational wealth was non-existent.

its a semantic argument. Moors (myself included) would argue that there are no "black people", because black is an adjective that 1. etymologically, actually means pale 2. is a legal fiction which strips people of rights in the U.S. and other jurisdictions with this status 3. is a form of "paper genocide" used to disconnect us from ties to actual landmasses. Instead Moors identify with the ancient and modern civilizations who were known as Moors, Muurs, Mauritanians, Moros, etc.

There is alot of talk in Black spaces and places about our need for healing. I have spent 20+ years cracking the code on what it takes to heal and transform US. Haaling emotional blocks is faster and simpler than you may realize. Stop suffering and start transforming.

Buying from #blackowned businesses doesn't mean anything UNLESS that money is being reinvested into the community. The money that touches these businesses never circulate in the community. Black business owners, this should be a wake-up call to begin REALLY reinvesting into black communities aka the hood.

I don't mean giving back to churches or giving back to schools, I mean actively giving back to the community in ways that the community can see change. From having roads paved to investing in programs that teach black youth their true history. #blackempowerment

Since stimulus checks are starting to hit, here’s some reminders
1. You don’t have the right to tell people what to do with their money, it’s theirs, not yours.

2. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone, so don’t push people to take their money and start a business.

3. Don’t talk down on others for needing this money. If you got it like that, good for you not everyone does.
4. Some people have been struggling for months. So whether they want to save it, spend it on bills, or use it to do something nice for themselves, they have that right.
