I think Black Americans are our own Nation and we should establish ourselves as such. We have put too much blood and suffering in this country to walk away from our harvesting season now. Our History and Identity is here. When it comes to moving past slavery i dont think we have a choice if we wish to progress forget it Never we should always constantly remind ourselves where we came from to make sure we never go back but to also celebrate how far we have came. I think us and the Africans can benefit from our differences to work together to build a future which we both can thrive in.
