I can’t count how many times a white person on twitter or fb tried to explain to me how I should feel or think, rationalize our men being shot in the back. I grew up in a racist little town. When I had my company I hired young brothers & if they had legal troubles, I paid off EVERY fine & start their lives over. A friend who was criminal defense atty represented them pro bono in court & gave them his card to hand to cops w their DLs if they got pulled over. I also signed them up for literacy classes, & dealt with their POs for them. I paid bonds too. They called me “CG” (Country Gangter), lol
It is not the same thing. Black people create Black spaces for safety and protection. White people create white only spaces to retain power. There is a difference.
