most definitely, but we need to organize. in the 60's, they meet, had a plan with definitive goals, and executed those plans. we need a group to organize the demands and policies and present to every local and national government officials...police brutality is just one injustice we suffer...social economics, education, health care, all things must be addressed

Reform in the NYPD is happening in NYC.

"Eliminating the law, known as Section 50-a, would make complaints against officers, as well as transcripts and final dispositions of disciplinary proceedings, public for the first time in decades"

Two questions that comes to mind..are these officers going to be held accountable? Are other states going to follow suit?

this is definitely a step in the right direction, but we need a separate committee to review and weigh in on the decisions. members should be those in the community and those that are not in the bed with the corrupt system.

So what has protesting accomplished?
