LBOK has an initiative focused on Black women and youth girls in Oklahoma focusing on mental health and providing resources from black-owned mental health services in Oklahoma.

Our website is up and link is in bio.

The statistics behind police contact in #oklahoma
- highest mortality rate of police violence in the nation
- highest rate of underreporting the killings in the nation
- from 2013-2020 Oklahoma City consistently had among the highest rates of police shootings each year

LPBOK will go to black-owned beauty salons establishments and facilitate free mental health first aid training and mini pop-up seminars for the establishments’ customers to attend. The panel will consist of licensed mental health professionals and other helping professions.

Any fitness and strength athletes out there? Definitely like to network and connect with more athletes like me.

Next month! LOVE Project of Black Oklahoma will be having our last virtual community mental health conversation on Facebook Live. Be on the lookout for more info.
