Fruitvale Station was crazy cause for the first 95 percent of the movie it's just noise and randomness, I damn near wasn't feeling it at first. Then that final stretch was complete silence and that's when your heart drop. Masterful ending I must say

Same. Tons of movies that I just can't watch. Fruitvale Station, When They See Us etc. I don't do movies on black suffering/slavery or the like. I'll read up on it, but I just rather not with the visuals.

I’ve been lowkey avoiding watching Fruitvale Station for a few years now. I can rarely stomach watching movies about the horrors our community faces. I finally watched it today and this really pulled at my heart strings fr.
