The Vision.
Jamii is working towards a world in which black-owned businesses are successful, profitable and plentiful as well creating wealth that the community as a whole can benefit from. A world where our culture and communities are protected, accepted and treated with true equality. Whereby we are in control of the narrative & stories told about us; we no longer need to hide/downplay our cultural identity; we're no longer at the mercy of structurally racist institutions because we have the ability to create our own platforms, ecosystems and organisations to serve us instead.

It's Thankful Thursdays! Let's see... I'm thankful that God woke me up this morning and gave me a chance to further seek, understand, and fulfill my purpose in life. What are you THANKFUL for today?

Good evening everyone! My name is Shauntavia and I'm the co-owner of Marsha's B., and my business partner is Marlene, better known as my beautiful mom. We started this business together to push each other, to stop building everyone else's bag (and get a ?of our own), and most importantly to see each other WIN. We sell women's clothing sizes S-L (Slim Thick Cuties) and 1X-3X (Voluptuous Beauties). You can find us at:

Good morning beautiful people! I think we're all familiar with the phrase "Rome wasn't built in a day". With that being said I can honestly say I'm not quite done with all the other social media cites (especially my business pages) , but my first step is to delete my personal pages by the end of this month. What's your first step in helping make this community successful?
