Blkem have came a long way trying to bridge the gap in online economics and ownership within our community. In almost 4 years, we have not even begin to put a dent in this arena and the giants continue to dominate. No returns are coming back to our community and the cycle continues. We want the problems to disappear but we're not repairing the foundations that can help contain, if not alleviate these issues.

For the cousins who continue to support Blkem during this struggle, it's heavily appreciated, from the bottom of our heats.

It's the end of 2023 and all this new year new me b.s., please stop lol you're the same person and going into 2024 is no different. We're going to continue to see the same issues, new issues and problems arise in the world. Things that you would expect...so BE EXPECTED

As a whole, black people know good and damn well that a lot of things in this life are not going to go in our favor because of the color of our skin and the vile stereotypes associated with that.

With that being said, we as a whole need to move responsibly because what I just mentioned is going to take more time to correct. You can't play into these people's games and expect not to be rewarded with something damaging, then call on your community to come bail you out when we warned you about this AND you knew yourself what would happen.

Time after time, our community is faced with these challenges and in this day and age, we should be able to assist.

Mobile app update:

We have relaunched and uploaded the Blkem's Android Mobile App to the Play Store. It's currently in review.

This is in BETA MODE, so some noticeable issues may arise when using the app. This Beta is updated and better than the previous one. Some functions will also be missing such as link fetch, video fetch, video upload etc.. but we will be adding those shortly.

Once approved, we will post the link to the app.

iOS app upload will take place tomorrow as we have a few more steps to take.

The Black-Owned businesses in our communities as of right now are far too unessential. I can 100% guarantee we don't need another streetwear brand, or another durag brand, what we need is an ESSENTIAL store!

This is a part of the second stage of black liberation prior to the abolition of capitalism. The Black Liberation Project's goal is to promote the creation and institution of essential black-owned businesses such as a Grocery Store, a Bank, a clinic, and a school.
