Today Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre which was one of the first of its kind to be built 55 years ago will close forever. This has been a long time coming but its still sad to see.
One of the most key moments in UK history occured here back in 1998 with the inquiry of Stephen Lawrences murder.
The murder was racially motivated and although the killers are have always been known justice still hasn't been fully reached over 2 decades on.
