I have personal codified devotion to my history, culture, and my people. So I speak truth to power.

I'm a huge fan of my guy #JamesBlake and see what he's doing with Vault, but #VaultMusicHQ feels like it's something special. I get a feeling they will be the future of this music world. #YupYup

40 & up is only old to people who aren’t blessed with actual elders in their every day lives. My dad is 86 and his aunt is 95. I’m only half way thru✊🏾.

Anyone selling body butter? My normal person hasn't made any new batches in years and this I got on my trip to PA and the website doesn't sell it. I really could use a recommendation!

Beautiful heartbreaking story. 42 years is crazy. Can't give the time back but when things like that happen the govt should have to pay out a crazy number to the wrongfully incarcerated. Congratulations Gary. Those quilts are amazing

Had a powerful moment recently w/ artist Gary Tyler hearing his story & meanings behind his quilts.

Gary was wrongfully convicted of murder in Louisiana at age 16, sentenced to Death Row & remained in prison for 42years.

His quilts include self-portraits, frustration when his pardon was first rejected, addt’l snapshots from prison & other stories he wanted to share.

Gary Tyler was finally released in 2016 at age 57. I was so sad and ANGRY but Gary was so calm and peaceful. “Don’t be sad, this is a celebration!” He said. “I understand it now. It humbled me but they couldn’t break me”

Blkem's rebrand

Honestly, I am really excited for this rebrand because it's still going to incorporate elements from Blkem such as Blocks, exclusive sections, premium features, identity verification, and the ability to enhance activities on a social media.

This rebrand is a rebuild that's going to be unique in its own way.

As we said, the focus will be on economics, that will eventually lead us towards pushing resources in the Black community and open us up to more access to it.

I will update on what this name change will be soon!!
